Oxidized polyethylene wax (also known as OPE wax) is a low molecular weight polymer containing polar groups such as carbonyl and hydroxyl groups, produced by the oxidation process of polyethylene wax. It is in the form of white or light yellow powder and has characteristics such as acid value of 7-26, melting point of 98-104 ℃, and density of 0.95g/cm ³. The functional groups on its molecular chain significantly enhance compatibility with polar resins, pigments, and fillers. Its wetting and dispersibility in polar systems are superior to that of polyethylene wax, and its performance is comparable to that of Honeywell A-C wax in the United States. It has both internal and external lubrication, dispersion, and coupling effects, good thermal and chemical stability, and can replace montmorillonite wax and traditional polyethylene wax. The production process of this product includes traditional oxidation method and new air distribution plate oxidation method. Widely used in the processing of PVC profiles, pipes, and cable materials, it has better lubricity than other lubricants in hard transparent/opaque PVC formulations, and is used for dispersing PE color masterbatch, ink anti friction agent, adjusting hot melt viscosity, and rubber demolding. In the coating field, it can improve the abrasion resistance and matting performance. In the textile industry, it is used as a micro lotion as a fiber protector to improve the tear strength and pilling resistance of the fabric.
Oxidized polyethylene wax, also known as OPE wax,
OPE wax has special properties such as low viscosity, high softening point, and good hardness. It is non-toxic, has good thermal stability, low high temperature volatility, and excellent dispersion of fillers and pigments. It has excellent external lubrication, strong internal lubrication, and coupling effect, which can improve the production efficiency of plastic processing, reduce production costs, and have good compatibility with polyolefin resins. It has good moisture resistance at room temperature, strong chemical resistance, excellent electrical performance, and can improve the appearance of finished products. It is an ideal product to replace Mongolian wax, Sichuan wax, liquid paraffin, microcrystalline stone wax, natural paraffin, polyethylene wax, etc
Dispersants, lubricants, brighteners, coupling agents for pigments or fillers such as dark masterbatch, polypropylene masterbatch, additive masterbatch, and filler masterbatch.
EVA wax is used as a lubricant, release agent, and phase solvent for rubber processing. It has good compatibility with various rubbers due to its high melting point and low viscosity, which promotes good resin flowability, relatively reduces the power consumption of resin mixing, reduces the adhesion between resin and mold, is easy to release, and plays a role in internal and external lubrication. At the same time, it has good anti-static properties.
Used as a dispersant and anti scratch agent for ink.
Used as a viscosity modifier for hot melt adhesives.
